How good is the sound quality? null

Harmon kardon, that name Says it all. Or is phenomenal, don't need auxiliary speakers unless you really want a full theater experience.

With a TV of this quality, you are going to want to get a proper sound system. That being said, the sound that it puts out isn't very good. It has one optical output for sound so get a receive that has one or two of those.

This TV has very good sound. Best of any flat screen I have owned. Make sure you go through the sound set-up in settings to get optimal sound. But, I would get a home theater system to fully enjoy the cinema experience. LG is coming out with a 4K blu-ray player soon, and a surround sound system would be a must for me.
