Sorry for the long delay to answer, but I just recently used the 3D feature with my setup. I did not experience any difficulty in viewing a 3D DVD program while using the LG supplied glasses. However I noted that my old Samsung 3D glasses did not work with this setup, only the LG supplied glasses. I'm unable to supply any other suggestions.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Make sure you put the 3D version disc and make sure when the Samsung 3D Blu-ray prompts that you choose the 3D option. I also have a Samsung 3D Blu-ray player hooked up to it and the 3D works fantastic with the provided LG 3D glasses that came with the tv. One more thing, you might need to upgrade your HDMI cable, as the salesman recommended I do so due to the much superior resolution on the tv compared to my previous model. I upgraded to the SKY HDMI cable purchased at Best Buy.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I could be mistaken, but what I understood is tv is not a "3D tv". There's an option ok controller on lower left side which allows regular blu ray or 4k to be made "3D". Glssses will work with this option.
