It's 60hz native but it emulates 120hz with the TV software, you'll notice the difference when watching TV and movies specifically but if you play video games you'll be lock at 60hz witch is sufficient, if you want real 120hz you'll have to pay a lot more for it a mere 23" computer monitor with native 120hz it's like $500 or so
