Yes it does, that's why it's a "4K" TV it will automatically detect the 4k signal coming from your Xbox one X, I have a gaming laptop and it automatically detects the signal and gives me 4k resolution right away if I play 4k content from web browsers it shows a little notification that's showing HDR
