“I can't get YouTube to open on this TV. It just spins. I can't even sign into YouTube. How do you fix this? I also want a simpler remote like I had with my Fire TV. This remote is a mess and almost impossible to use.”

Please try again later.If the YouTube app on the LG - 55” Class UA7050 Series LED AI 4K UHD Smart webOS TV (2025), Model # 55UA7050PUB, is not opening, first perform a hard reset by unplugging the TV from the wall for 60 seconds. If it still doesn't work, delete and reinstall the YouTube app via the LG Content Store, check for firmware updates in Settings, or ensure your user agreements are accepted. The standard remote control that comes with the TV is the only remote we offer other than the LG Magic remote. The TV is also compatible with the LG Magic Remote, Model # MR25GA, but it is NOT a simpler remote. You can search online, or search on Amazon or retail sites like Best Buy, to see if they have universal remotes that can be programmed to work with LG TVs and are simpler. They will not give you full operability with the TV's functions and settings, but they may be simpler remotes...^Ivan.
