Use HDMI interface cable
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi there, thank you for reaching out! We understand that you'd like to connect a DVD player to your LG 55UT7000PUA TV. You can easily connect your DVD player to the TV using one of the available HDMI ports or the optical input. Here’s a simple guide: Using HDMI: Connect an HDMI cable from the DVD player's HDMI output to one of the TV's HDMI input ports (preferably HDMI 1 or HDMI 2 for easy access). Select the corresponding HDMI input on your TV using the remote or the TV's input menu. Using Component (if supported by your DVD player): If your DVD player only has component video outputs (Red, Green, Blue), use a component cable to connect the DVD player to the TV's component input. Ensure you match the color-coded connectors. Using Optical Audio (if desired): If you want to connect the audio through an optical connection, use an optical cable to connect the DVD player's optical output to the TV's SPDIF (optical audio out) input. Once connected, simply switch the TV’s input to the one corresponding to your DVD player. If you encounter any issues, please send us a private message on social media @LGUSSupport, and we’ll be happy to help you further. https://www.lg.com/us/tvs/lg-55ut7000pua-4k-uhd-tv#pdp_specs We hope this helps you enjoy your viewing experience! —Renzo
