This is the only glass top stove that says not to use anything but a paper towel and a glass top cleaner, such as Weiman's, to clean the top of the stove. Why only a paper towel and not the little red pads of Weiman's that I've used on other glass tops? null

The instructions for cleaning the Glass/Ceramic Cooktop on the LG - 6.3 Cu. Ft. Self-Cleaning Freestanding Electric Convection Range - Black Stainless Steel, Model # LRE3083BD caution against using scrub pads or abrasive cleaning pads. The instructions recommend using Ceramic Cooktop Cleaners lists Weiman CookTop Cleaning Cream, Cerama Bryte, Golden Ventures Cerama Bryte and Easy-Off 3 in 1 Glass Top Cleaner Spray as approved cleaners. It also instructs that you use a dry cloth or paper towel after rinsing with clear water to remove all cleaning residue. You are not restricted to just the use of paper towels. Always follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer on the package of the cleaner that you are using...^IFV
