“This says freestanding. The picture looks like a slide in and the LG model number says slide in. I do not want a freestanding and am concerned I ordered the wrong thing.”

• It is a slide in. We did a direct replacement of our old slide in range with this one.

• This is a slide in. When the display (clock,buttons,etc.) is not in the back of the range, then it is a slide in. That’s how I’m able to keep the differences in my head. I guess it could be freestanding in a way because it is not built into the cabinets like an oven unit or fridge could be. Literally slide it in. Warning: you should consider having a backsplash. We don’t have a backsplash and that was a very bad idea.
