“Are there pictures of the back available anywhere? I'm curious to see if it's flat or has an indention to accommodate our existing gas line that protruded through the floor”

We looked everywhere for pictures, not sure why there are none. My range has a space for the gas line to be tucked in, and our service comes out of the floor as well. It took some doing but my husband was able to get most of the unweildy gas line tucked in using a piece of 1x3 and standing on a step ladder, while I worked the range toward the wall. It comes equipped with a spacer, which we used to cover the small 2" gap between the back of the range and the wall. It is probably a good idea to just plan on using the spacer as the back of the range gets pretty hot and the space will allow some circulation for heat dissipation.
