We purchased the same tv over a month ago. We have not experienced any problems and the tv is on for several hours a day. My neighbors tv was experiencing similar problems and contacted the cable provider to find the connection at the outside pole was not properly secured.

We regret to read about the issues that you are currently experiencing with you recently purchased LG UHD 70 Series 60 inch 4K HDR Smart LED TV, Model # 60UN7000PUB and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. There are several things that could be causing the TV to blink on/off until it warms up and some may be related to power. Unplug the power cable and if possible, try plugging the TV into a different outlet. When a TV flickers or blinks on and off is an indication that it may not be getting enough power. A flickering TV that blinks can sometimes be fixed by simply turning the TV off and back on. A component attached to the TV could be at fault. Cables may not be secure or a cable may be faulty. Loose or defective cables leading into the set can result in screen flicker. Try a different cable (usually HDMI), your wire may not be working properly (or try the same cable on a different device and see if the problem persists). Check to ensure that the power cable is inserted firmly and securely in the back of the TV and in the outlet. Is the TV plugged directly into the outlet or are you using a surge protector or extension cord? If after troubleshooting the problem persists, the TV may require a repair service...^IFV
