QuestionI noticed when I first turn on the TV, the quality seemed kind of blurry. Is there a way to fix this?

- Answer I had the same issue. It took a while for the TV to "warm up" and the picture to become sharper. I spent hours adjusting the settings but the picture quality isn't as good as other brands in this class. May return it in exchange for a Samsung or a Sony.

QuestionMost smart TVs have a "soap opera effect" Watching films, the artistry is lost. Even when you turn off motion, it still looks like bad 80s video making it totally unwatchable. Does this TV have a control to watch films as originally intended by director?

- Answer The soap opera effect is actually a feature of many modern televisions. It's called "motion smoothing," or "motion interpolation," but every TV manufacturer has their own name for what they call the feature. On LG TVs, it is called TruMotion. On the LG UHD 70 Series 60 inch 4K HDR Smart LED TV, Model # 60UN7000PUB, the TruMotion can be turned On/Off through the settings Menu for the TV... ^IFV

- Answer Hi Alex. All TVs get blurry when showing motion. Motion lag or blur are produced when the processing in the TV are slower than the object moving on the screen causing some delay. One issue with LCD-based TVs, in particular, is that the image can blur during fast-moving scenes, such as in action movies or sports. This appearance comes about because movies and a lot of prime-time TV shows are shot at a relatively slow 24 frames per second, or 24Hz. The TruMotion function in the LG UHD 70 Series 60 inch 4K HDR Smart LED TV, Model # 60UN7000PUB is LG's implementation of motion smoothing. Motion smoothing works by increasing the framerate (the speed at which your TV shows a new picture) of the video by inserting extra “intermediate” frames between each real frame...^IFV

- Answer When both the LG UHD 70 Series 50 inch 4K Smart TV, Model # 50UN7000PUC and your smartphone are connected to the same network, you can use the Screen Share feature on the TV to display your smartphone's device on the TV. Screen Share only works with Android phones that supports Miracast or WiDi. For iOS devices, you need to use AirPlay 2 which is supported on the TV...^IFV

QuestionI just purchased this tv and the legs are so far apart they won’t fit my current tv stand and we can’t mount on wall. I know some tvs you are able to take the legs and move them closer together, can you do that with this model? If not universal stand?

- Answer Regrettably, the slots that the stand legs for the LG UHD 70 Series 60 inch 4K HDR Smart LED TV, Model # 60UN7000PUB fit into are fixed and there isn't an option for moving them closer. You can inquire about Best Buy's selection for TV Stands with a mount to see if they have one that will support the VESA Mount Bolt Holes in the back of the TV which have a VESA Mount Pattern of 300 x 300 mm...^IFV

QuestionHow far apart are the legs, please? My stand is only 44 inches wide.

- Answer 48.6 inches is the width so ya need at least a 49 inches or longer tv stand. but you can buy table top stands and attach to the back of this tv. the cost for one is around 40 dollars or less. why Lg extended the legs so far apart does make it problem to sit it on tv stands under 48 inches. Have the same problem my stand is 47 3/4 inches and who wants to spend a 100 or more bucks to buy another stand.

- Answer The difference between In-Plane Switching (IPS) and Vertical Alignment (VA) panels in most cases is that most VA TVs will have a sizable degradation in quality by 20° to the side, the way it can be seen is a dramatic loss of saturation. IPS TVs will lose luminosity instead. They generally go until around 36° before losing half their brightness, but there are some that go over 50°.The narrow viewing angle of VA type TVs can also be a disadvantage when the TV is used as a PC monitor. However, VA technology is far beyond IPS panels when it comes to contrast. Blacks are far darker, but the difference is far less visible in a bright environment and is only impacted in a dark environment...^IFV

QuestionSo when it is delivered do they bring it in house? I am going to get installation but they deliver it first. I know I can’t pick it up.

- Answer Yes. They brought it into the house and set it on the floor in the family room where I directed them to set it. The only problem was they gave a 6 hour window during which time they'd bring it. They contacted us shortly before arriving which was helpful.
