The soap opera effect is actually a feature of many modern televisions. It's called "motion smoothing," or "motion interpolation," but every TV manufacturer has their own name for what they call the feature. On LG TVs, it is called TruMotion. On the LG UHD 70 Series 60 inch 4K HDR Smart LED TV, Model # 60UN7000PUB, the TruMotion can be turned On/Off through the settings Menu for the TV... ^IFV
