What this means is that compared to the B6 or C6, the OLED panel is sandwiched between 2 thin panels of glass. Other differences include the E6 supports 3D and the B6 does not so if the curved design of the C6 is not your style but you want 3D (and 3D on LG OLED displays is EXCELLENT) then the E6 would be the way to go. The E6 also has a better remote. HDR is slightly better on the E6 vs. the B6 (likely due to a combination of a slightly better video processor as well as the advantages of "OLED on glass" and i can notice it but I am a audio/video geek and the typical person would likely never see the difference. All of LG's 2016 line of UHD Premium Certified 4K OLED TV's are spectacular and I say this as an owner of a 55 inch EG9600 from last year. You won't be disappointed with either one compared to an LCD TV. Hope this helps.
