• The model you choose is most likely cable / Satelite ready.. However make sure the HDMI inputs are 2.0a if you are installing DirecTV 4k channels.. otherwise it will NOT function...

• Yes, only with a cable box or DirecTV box. And the picture is amazing...especially with DirecTV's 4K offerings.
