Basically, OLED evo is the evolution of the traditional panel. It includes a more advanced processor and more efficient materials for higher maximum brightness and more accurate colours. While a standard OLED can look somewhat dark in illuminated rooms, the 'evo' panel of the C5 solves much of that problem by better control of heat and light.

We understand your inquiry regarding the differences between standard OLED technology and the OLED evo technology found in the LG C5 Series, model OLED65C5PUA. While both standard OLED and OLED evo utilize self-lit pixels that can turn completely off to achieve perfect blacks and infinite contrast, OLED evo represents an evolution in performance through a combination of hardware and software enhancements. The OLED65C5PUA features our specialized OLED evo panel which is paired with the powerful α9 AI Processor 4K Gen8. This specific combination enables our Brightness Booster technology, allowing the display to produce a more luminous and vibrant picture compared to traditional OLED models. By utilizing these sophisticated light-boosting algorithms and the high-efficiency processing of the α9 chip, the OLED evo series delivers improved clarity, more realistic textures, and a significant increase in peak brightness, which is particularly beneficial when viewing high-dynamic range (HDR) content in well-lit rooms. https://www.bestbuy.com/product/lg-65-class-c5-series-oled-evo-ai-4k-uhd-smart-webos-tv-2025/JJ8VPZTRG6 If you have any further questions about its features or specifications, please contact us on [email protected], and our team will be more than happy to assist you further via private message. —Renzo
