“Will there be any problem using an older Bose surround sound system with this TV? There are HDMI connectors plugged into my current Samsung (about 8 year sold) from an even older Sony receiver and it works well.”

This TV has optical audio and AV input that requires a breakout cable that is not an included accessory. ^Daphane

We had the Geek Squad install, and have an old surround sound system as well. It works just fine with our 18 year old speaker system! The receiver is only about 2 years old, though.

If you are still wondering about this, if you have optical audio cords it won’t be an issue. This tv has arc. And many other cooks features. This tv comes with an adapter, for them old yellow red white, but I don’t use it I’m very happy with the sound the tv has already.
