The only way to connect your PC to the LG CX 65 inch Class 4K Smart OLED TV w/ AI ThinQ® (64.5'' Diag), Model # OLED65CXPUA is through the TV's HDMI ports. Both HDMI and the Optical Digital Audio port pass digital audio from one device to another with the biggest difference being that HDMI can pass higher-resolution audio, including the formats found on Blu-ray: Dolby TrueHD and DTS HD Master Audio. These formats can't get transmitted across the Optical Digital Audio port. If the audio source for the TV is Dolby Digital, the Digital Sound Output will also be Dolby Digital through the Optical Digital Out if the Digital Sound Out settings are set to Auto/Pass Through...^IFV
