No, I just called ATT and they said if their remote works ok, then its the TV's issue. ATT remote is fine, all functions working as expected. LG Support told me this is a known bug and they are working on it. Any other suggestions? I might return the LG TV ($2400), I expect it to be flawless.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Janice. You may have an issue with the LG Magic Remote that came as an included accessory with the LG CX 65 inch Class 4K Smart OLED TV w/ AI ThinQ® (64.5'' Diag), Model # OLED65CXPUA. I have the same TV and all my HD channels are in the 500's and I watch Cinemax which is in the 1000's and I have no problem entering four digits with the magic remote. It may also be a compatibility issue with your U-verse set-top box. The picture issue may also be how you have the TV connected and what cables you are using or that you need to have the TV calibrated to get the best out of it. We highly recommend that you contact AT&T for assistance with your set-top box & with inquiries as to why you are unable to type in more than 2 or 3 digits...^IFV
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. So it might be the remote? This is Janice's husband, Rick. Can you do this on your OLED65CX... Type into the remote 1003. Does it go to channel 1003, or to 103? Type into the remote 1225. It does go to 1225. Our issue is that the TV is dropping the "0", rather than the computer in the TV registering "00" it treats "00" like a single "0" and we get 103 rather than 1003. I think it is a coding issue since it is 100% reproducible all of the time. If it were the remote buttons, then it would be sporadic, sometimes 00 and then sometimes only 0.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I do not know. Still learning the remote myself. Try changing some of the picture setting. Makes a difference in how you enjoy the set.
