QuestionI have the Vizio 5.1.2 soundbar, the Roku Ultra, and a Samsung DVD player along with my 4k Comcast DVR. Can I hook all of these devices to the CX so they will all output their sound through my sundbar?

QuestionI get my tv viewing with TiVo , Amazon fire stick and an antenna on the roof. The TiVo is an OTA model. Will this tv be the one I want? I would like my apps built in and ease of use so I don’t need the fire stick any longer as well.

- Answer Salesmen from two different stores said the ROKU streams better than the apps on the tv. You may want to compare between your firestick and the tv apps.

- Answer It Supports HDR and Dolby Vision, Dolby Vision is the Higher Standard of them all. but yes; it would be nice to Have HDR10+ as an extra option.

QuestionI have arthritis in my thumbs and have a hard time using the magic remote. Is there a Universal remote that I can use to control my TV (and all the pictures settings) my tivo bolt and my Sony DVD player? It doesn't need to be able to control the cursor.

Best Buy carries a variety of Universal Remotes and you will need to contact them to inquire if any of the universal remote controllers they carry can be programmed to operate LG OLED TVs and what functions on LG OLED TVs they can control. Some of the programmable Universal Remotes Controls they carry are the Logitech Harmony remotes (Harmony 665, Harmony 950, Harmony Companion or the Harmony Elite). You can inquire about those to determine if they will suit your needs...^IFV

QuestionI have a large collection of Blu-ray Discs that many just have DTS type of coding. I assumethe LG OLED-CX series will pass-though the audio signal it obtains from my Oppo-UDP203? Meaning DTS, DTS-X and all form there? The LG SNRG11 decodes DTS

- Answer Hi TJ Sage. Most current playback devices already have the ability to decode DTS audio so there's no need for the decoder to be included in the TV. Those who wish to listen to DTS content from their Blu-ray disc player can do so by setting the audio output of the player to PCM (pulse code modulation). The LG CX 65 inch Class 4K Smart OLED TV w/ AI ThinQ® (64.5'' Diag), Model # OLED65CXPUA can both play that audio as well as pass it over eARC to a compatible eARC audio device. For consumers who wish to play DTS:X content, their source devices need to output the audio directly to an audio product with DTS:X support...^IFV

QuestionI cannot connect my brand new 65 LGCX to DIRECTV with my HDMI cable specifically for LGOLED smart TVs. The error message says program content restrictions and that I must use component cables. This appears to be In the firmware. When Will it be Fixed?

If you have another HDMI cable, please check it with that HDMI cable to see if that resolves the issue....^IFV

- Answer The LG CX 65 inch Class 4K Smart OLED TV w/ AI ThinQ® (64.5'' Diag), Model # OLED65CXPUA has a glossy screen, but has excellent reflection handling as it has an anti-reflective coating so you shouldn't have any issues placing it in a bright room. It has a measurement of 1.5% for total reflections for thew amount of light which is reflected off the screen in all directions, and 0.4% for indirect reflections which is the amount of light reflected off the screen, ignoring direct (mirror-like) reflections. That matters when watching TV in a bright room, without sunlight or lamps directed at the TV...^IFV

QuestionHow do I connect my LG OLED65CXPUA Tv to a Bose Lifestyle 650 home theatre system? It has one ARC to be connected to the Tv but is not an EARC. I TRIED but there’s a conflict and the tv switch itself to internal speakers or no sound at all. Any suggest

- Answer Earc is backwards compatible to arc. So that isn't your issue. Have you gone into the hdmi 2 settings and identified the bose system in the menu? Hit the home button, the choose home dashboard, highlight and choose hdmi 2, then tap the circle with a little plug symbol on the top. Create new connection under hdmi 2 in the next screens identify the sound system to the TV and it will fix your issue. Look at the attached photos. I had to setup my Sonos Arc this way as well. Earc just adds a faster connection enabling more uncompressed sound modes and zero audio lag.

QuestionWhy can’t I type in more than 2 or 3 digits On the remote to get a channel? We are on U-verse and all of our HD channels are over 1000. We’ve called LG 3 times with no success. The picture is not stunning either, like many say. Maybe we got a bad one.

- Answer No, I just called ATT and they said if their remote works ok, then its the TV's issue. ATT remote is fine, all functions working as expected. LG Support told me this is a known bug and they are working on it. Any other suggestions? I might return the LG TV ($2400), I expect it to be flawless.

QuestionHi LG, can you please list all of the differences between the CX and the GX, other than the price difference? Best Buy's website doesn't clearly list them as far as I can see.

- Answer The main differences are that the LG GX 65 inch Class with Gallery Design 4K Smart OLED TV w/AI ThinQ® (64.5'' Diag), Model # OLED65GXPUA is a Gallery Design, it is designed to be wall mounted and it comes with an included wall mount designed to take advantage of the TVs design, allowing it to be mounted flush to the wall. The stand legs are optional and have to be purchased separately should you decide you want to install the TV on a TV stand. It is also one of six 2020 LG OLEDs that has the NEXTGEN TV (ATSC 3.0) hardware built-in that will require a software upgrade to activate the hardware which will be automatically pushed out later this year. You will need to check with your local networks to determine when they will begin any NEXTGEN services as well, since this will also be a staged rollout. The CX series does not have this NEXTGEN TV (ATSC 3.0) hardware built-in and will not be receiving a software update to activate it. All our OLED lineup has the same picture quality...^IFV

QuestionWhen the CX is mounted on its stand, how far does the stand protrude in front of the screen? Also, how high is the lower edge of the screen from the surface? Does the TV need to be raised a few inches if a sound bar is placed in front of it?
