QuestionDoes this TV lay flat against the wall when you hang it on the wall? Do you recommend a specific wall mount to keep it flat to the wall? What would the depth to the wall be after hanging with the wall mount?

- Answer It doesn’t lay flat against the wall. The base and controls make it stick out around 3 inches. The acreen is really thin also

- Answer Apple TV app Showtime Hulu Disney plus Sling Prime video Netflix The ones missing I also us are red Bull tv, hbo Max, however the lag tv has built in airplay 2 so you can mirror from your iPhone or any other Apple device amd works great!

QuestionI notice the specs mention it only supports DTS-HD, Dolby Atmos, and "OLED Surround" as surround sound outputs. Does this mean I can't watch or play something in Dolby Digital? Or would that work in DTS?

- Answer This TV does not have a DTS decoder. The C9 does, but not the CX. Dolby Digital and Atmos decoders are embedded in the TV and can be passed down to a sound bar or surround sound receiver via eARC. If you want to listen to DTS-HD, you would need to connect the device thru a surround sound receiver and then to the TV. Hope that helps.

QuestionI just purchased the LG CX 65" TV and I’m very excited to set it up. Question about the sound. I have a Sonos Beam in the house and was wondering if I should set it up to my LG CX 65 or if the TV speakers themselves are better since I see .

QuestionI have paired my Bose Quiet Comfort headphones to the TV but the audio keeps dropping on and off. It's not the Bose since I have connected them to other devices and have no audio problems. Seems like this LG smart TV wont work with wireless headphones?

- Answer I have become sort of an expert on wireless headphones as I have tried over 30 different true wireless earbuds over the last couple of years. That said connectivity varies greatly with both the headphones and the devices you try to pair to. I use these every day from watching my LG OLED CX TV to using them on my phone and my work and home computers to make work calls and to game and talk with friends and family. What I have discovered is that some do better connecting to my computer but not as well with my TV and vice versa. I have two different models from my favorite manufacturer and on has some slight connection issues with the TV while the other pair have no issues at all. I will say that sadly the headphones I had the most trouble with were from Bose and I am and have been a massive Bose fan since the 90's. So it pains me to say it but that is the way it is. Their true wireless earbuds (2019 model) were not even able to connect to a laptop using an intel bluetooth chip (It is well documented online of this issue). There are lots of brands out there so I would suggest trying another brand out (from Best Buy since you can return them and try another pair if they don't work).

QuestionDoes it only play 4k movies in letter box format with the black bars at top and bottom or does it fill the screen?

- Answer As far as the black bars at the top and bottom, that all depends on the content creator. Most movies will have the letterbox format because that's the way the director intended. Some movies will be full screen. Again just depends on the director.

QuestionThe CX has G-Sync, but does it have AMD Free-Sync as well because the next-gen consoles take advantage of AMD Free-Sync due to them having AMD GPU? Also, does it have 1 ms response time as it claims to? Thank you! :)

- Answer It supports free sync the menu option on the tv says it’s using free sync premium. And so far the response time seems spot on I’m able to still play my pc games just as good as I do on my 144hz monitor so this tv so far has been great.

QuestionMy question is, when I play a 4K movie from my PC to LG, will it give me 5.1 surround sound when I use my receiver? I'm planning to connect the LG TV to my receiver using Optical cable. Video source will be PC to TV via HDMI cable.

- Answer The only way to connect your PC to the LG CX 65 inch Class 4K Smart OLED TV w/ AI ThinQ® (64.5'' Diag), Model # OLED65CXPUA is through the TV's HDMI ports. Both HDMI and the Optical Digital Audio port pass digital audio from one device to another with the biggest difference being that HDMI can pass higher-resolution audio, including the formats found on Blu-ray: Dolby TrueHD and DTS HD Master Audio. These formats can't get transmitted across the Optical Digital Audio port. If the audio source for the TV is Dolby Digital, the Digital Sound Output will also be Dolby Digital through the Optical Digital Out if the Digital Sound Out settings are set to Auto/Pass Through...^IFV

QuestionI'm trying to get HDMI ARC out to my Yamaha A1050 receiver but I can't seem to get any audio out of the TV. It works with the optical out fine. How can I confirm it's working and not a defect on my TV?

The issue is that the LG CX 65 inch Class 4K Smart OLED TV w/ AI ThinQ® (64.5'' Diag), Model # OLED65CXPUA features an HDMI eARC port and you're connecting it to an HDMI ARC port. HDMI eARC is not backward compatible with HDMI ARC. If your TV is HDMI eARC enabled, but your AV amp or soundbar is only compatible with HDMI ARC, it's likely you'll get a sound - but the bandwidth restrictions of ARC will mean you won't be able to experience the high bitrate audio that eARC can provide. So no, it's not backwards-compatible...^IFV

QuestionDoes window reflect on the screen?

- Answer It is somewhat reflective, especially when the scene is dark, like a night shot. I have a West facing window behind me and I usually close the shade during the day. But I think that is it better than my previous LG OLED55. I LOVE the TV and especially the ability to cast video from my iPhone. And it has CBS All Access built in along with a lot of other APPs.

- Answer Ours is bright too. However the TV is located on a wall that is 90 degrees offset from the windows (East wall-windows on North wall). We have no issues with glare

QuestionFor those of us old school, can I attach a VCR with RCA patch cords? (insert "Welcome to the 80's comment"). Cable TV or Rabbit ears via coax? How many HDMI or USB slots? Is there a built in digital tuner? Does this require internet to function? Thx!

- Answer You can connect a VCR. There is an AV input that requires a breakout cable which is not supplied. There is an input for RF Connection Input (Antenna/Cable). There are (4) HDMI inputs and (3) USB ports. Internet is required for streaming services like Netflix and Disney+. ^Daphane
