“I bought this tv and am using an existing VESA mount I had installed. however the old tv used a much thicker screw into the back of the TV... I have no idea where all the screws that came with the mount are... can I find out what size I need?”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The manual that came with the TV tells you what screws you need to mount. I had the same thing happen to me. If I recall I used M5 20mm length, but again the manual will confirm. I will note, you need washers depending on the mount. Since my old mount also had bulky screws the M5's didn't catch on the mounting holes, so had to use a washer to make sure it was well mounted.
