According to LG website the only difference is the b7a doesn't have Dolby atmos and doesn't have the 2.2 sound capabilities. If you have a dedicated surround sound system you won't need any of these two features and save the two hundred dollars. The c6p is last years model.

B7A has a 2.0 speaker regimen (AKA 2 loud speakers - 0 subwoofers) - which does not support Dolby Atmos C7P has a 2.2 Speaker regimen (AKA 2 loud speakers - 2 subwoofers) - which does support Dolby Atmos for simulated surround field E7P has a 4.2 Speaker regimen (AKA 4 loud speakers - 2 subwoofers) - which does support Dolby Atmos for simulated surround field G7P has a 4.2 speaker regimen (aka 4 loud speakers - 2 subwoofers) - which does support Dolby Atmos for simulated surround field -- these speakers are also front firing, so it will feel more like a soundbar giving you directional audio. This is how this progresses as you keep climbing. The top tier W7P separates all the actual components (Video inputs, speakers, outputs, etc...) to a separate piece - including the speakers - and instead only has a single cable hooking up to the panel itself. This allows the TV panel to literally be paper thin. This is what the little secondary piece you see in the pictures are. Complicated answers aside... If you're like me and have your own component sound system (Receiver w/satellite speakers and subwoofer), or if you have a aftermarket sound solution (Soundbar, for instance) -- buy the cheapest one. There will be no other benefit to you in terms of picture performance.

The B7 is choice for people that has there own Audio Video Home Theater Sound system. (Receiver, speakers, sub) since they wont be needing any of the extra features of the C7 models.
