HDMI is sufficient, any HDMI cable that is HDMI 2.0 rated is fine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.HDMI is always the best way to hook up a surround sound, simply because it give you uncompressed audio (i.e Dolby True HD, DOLBY ATMOS, DTS-Master HD, DTS-X). Simply said HDMI is the best! Fiber Optics simply gives you 5.1. audio
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Toslink optical sound delivers good audio quality, but typically limited to 5.1 surround. HDMI cabling offers many other HT configurations including Atmos and DTS:X. My preference is to use HDMI wherever possible. Most HDMI cables work fine. I tend to keep mine reasonably short and buy a good quality cable. No need to overspend.
