That really depends on the model you are looking at. The B series model is more prone to reflections due to the cheaper plastic front on the screen. It also doesn't matter if the TV is on or off, if there is a reflection with it on, there will be one with it off. My OLED65B7A faces windows and lamps. It does have a reflection from them, but it is minimal. If you are looking to minimize the glare as much as possible, you will need to look into the more expensive E series model with the "Picture-on-Glass". Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the OLED65B7 and although the screen is completely black when the set is off, there are definitely reflections from the window in the room. Picture quality, though, is A-MAZ-ING! If you get it, give it a couple days to settle in. The picture was pretty horrendous, right out of the box, but after a few days, it's now much better than the Pioneer Kuro Plasma it replaced.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Well, not quite. The IMAGE that contains black portions will be as black as you can imagine, but the surface of the screen itself will dictate how much glare you get off the screen. Unfortunately the OLED65B7A has a very glossy surface and as such can be a problem in a multi-window room. You could get a very glossy black portion of the screen.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Ours has the window on the side not directly facing, but we definitely have glare and reflection when it is off. It is a dark black, but I can see my patio furniture reflecting in it now. It is GREAT picture when viewing straight on even in the bright room, but not from the sides. In the evenings when it is darker, the view is great from any direction. Hope this helps!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not entirely true. I own this TV and I have a lot of windows in my living room so I do see some glare and reflection in the TV but it is not very noticeable when the TV is on. It is very noticeable when the TV is off (it's almost like a black mirror in some ways).
