• Your new dryer is shipped to vent to the rear. It can also be configured to vent to the bottom or side (right-side venting is not available on gas models). An adapter kit, part number 383EEL9001B, may be purchased from your LG retailer. This kit contains the necessary duct components to change the dryer vent location.

• A standard vent kit works fine with this dryer.

• the vent is bottom middle of the unit. no special venting needed other than standard, to the outside type.

• The dryer does have the vent located near the bottom (pointing toward the rear). It didn't need any special venting kit when I installed it. I did use a low-profile vent kit to keep it near the wall, though.

• No it doesn't the gas dryer vents out the back or you can switch it the left. The electric model can vent back, left, or right.
