“What is the correct outlet needed for the dryer? I have the wiring run for a 30 Amp/240 volt appliance, but there appears to be different types of outlets to choose from.”

It does not come with a plug. You order that when you order the dryer.

Ft. 9-Cycle Electric Dryer with Sensor Dry - White, Model # DLE7300WE has its own terminal block that must be connected to a separate 240 VAC, 60-hertz, single-phase circuit, fused at 30 amperes (the circuit must be fused on both sides of the line). 4-wire connection is required for all mobile and manufactured home installations, as well as all new construction after January 1, 1996 and in areas where local codes prohibit grounding through the neutral conductor.The outlet that the 30-amp, 240-volt, 4-wire, UL-listed power cord with #10 AWG-minimum copper conductor and closed loop or forked terminals with upturned ends plugs into has a NEMA configuration of 14-30R (i.e two parallel slots, and "L" shaped slot and a horseshoe shaped grounding pin) You can use a 30-amp, 240-volt, 3-wire, UL-listed power cord with #10 AWG-minimum copper conductor and closed loop or forked terminals with upturned ends in areas where local codes do not prohibit grounding through the neutral conductor or in buildings before January 1, 1996.
