A:AnswerThis dryer does not come with a power cord. The type of cord used is dependent on your outlet. The dryer should be connected to a 4-hole outlet. Use a 30-amp, 240-volt, 4-wire, UL-listed power cord with #10 AWG minimum copper conductor and closed loop or forked terminals with upturned
ends. A 3-wire connection is NOT permitted on new construction after January 1,1996. ^Daphane

A:AnswerThe cycle guide for dryer DLEX4200B suggest Permanent Press for synthetic items. Please seek recommendations/opinions on the customer forums at https://www.facebook.com/LGUSA; they are a great resource for getting help from other LG customers. Thank you. ^Daphane
A:AnswerYes, model DLEX4200B can be stacked and vented from the right. The w dryer is configured to vent to the rear. It can also vent to the bottom or side. The side venting kit is part number 3911EZ9131X, https://www.lg.com/us/laundry-accessories/lg-3911ez9131x. This dryer has been tested for clearances of 1 inch (2.5 cm) on the sides and rear. Recommended clearances should be considered for the following reasons: • Additional clearances should be considered for ease of installation and servicing. • Additional clearances should be considered on all sides of the dryer to reduce noise transfer. For closet installation, with a door, minimum ventilation openings in the top and bottom of the door are required. Louvered doors with equivalent ventilation openings are acceptable. ^Daphane
A:AnswerHello there! Thank you for reaching out about the LG DLEX4200W front load electric dryer. We understand your concern regarding noise levels, especially in a small living space. This dryer is designed to operate quietly, and many users report that it is relatively quiet during operation.
While it may produce some sound, particularly during drying cycles, it should not be disruptive, especially compared to the noise from traditional dryers. To further minimize noise, you might consider placing a rug or mat under the dryer to absorb sound vibrations.

A:AnswerYou don't need to change the door.... The door that is on it can be affixed to the opposite side of the unit.... just make sure you mark the bottom of door to make it easy on yourself....
