Yes u can mount the t.v. on the wall.just buy a good bracket to hang the t.v. on and make sure it will hold up to 70in..i don't use wire of any kind.just find the studs in your wall and drill 4-6 thick wood screws into the studs.u will have to do some measuring but at the end of the day that tv will never fall assuming u put the tv on the bracket correctly
