I answered my own question. The distance to "outside edge" of the two stands is 59.78" So, it just fits on a 60" stand or table. Previous answers denoted a distance between right and left stand but did not identify if it was to "inside" or "outside" edges and made it seem like it was to inside edges, in which case it would not fit on a 60" table or stand. Please take the time to read my review before you actually buy this unit and make a real mistake. This TV is a watered down version of a real TV.
