Yes, It does. We satisfied with LG TV.

The LG UHD 70 Series 75 inch 4K HDR Smart LED TV, Model # 75UN7070PUC has a native resolution of 3840 x 2160 which is an Aspect Ratio of 16:9 or 1.78: 1 (i.e 16 divided by 9 or 3840 divided by 2160) It will not have an Aspect Ratio setting for 2.35:1. When the TV is presented with video content with an Aspect Ratio of 2.35:1, it will place black bars above and below the picture to fit the image into its screen. You also see movies with a 2.35:1 Aspect Ratio that are being broadcast typically preceded by the disclaimer, "This film has been modified from its original version. ... It has been formatted to fit this screen and edited for content," or some minor variant thereof. What this means is that the movie either needs to include black bars on the top and bottom to fit the entire, original image on the screen, or edit the movie to cut it down to size, usually involving just removing out outter edges, but sometimes doing special cuts to pan back and forth if, say, two people's faces are at either edge of the screen...^IFV
