What does SuperMulti Blade Drive mean? null

seems to just be marketing. it’s a nice drive, though.

"Blade" is refering to the thinness of the drvie. It is widely used in the "Thin" series laptops. Great DVD/CD using multipke types of discs!

LG Super Multi Compatibility optical drives can read and write different types of disc formats in one convenient package. The use of the word 'blade' is referring to the slim design of only 0.55 inches for the LG - 8x External Double-Layer DVD±RW/CD-RW SuperMulti Blade Drive, Model # AP70NS50. ^Daphane
