“I've seen answers below that this can be used with TV, and that it cannot. Can I use a micro USB to HDMI to connect to TV? The supplied cable works fine with my laptop, but I would like to be able to play Blu-ray on my TV as well.”

The LG 3D Blu-ray Disc Playback & M-DISC™ Support, Model # BP50NB40 is defaulted to ODD mode when it is powered on. TV Connectivity, a function that allows you to connect the drive to your TV has to be added by pressing and holding eject button for 2 seconds while the tray is still open. I then tried on my LG tv and although it was recognized, it could not play any VOB movie/tv files. :( Have yet to try a disc with images or music but will post my findings after I've tried.
