When recording off my laptop with an internalized, high speed cd rewrite, I could probably download up to 20-21 songs (average song length 3 to 4 minutes), but it seems that I record 1-2 fewer songs. I think this is due to the slower speed (8x) - but don't quote me, because I am definitely not computer or tech savvy.
