“My question is I have a Dvd-R Disc that I am looking to play and record can this device do that? It has my family Thanksgiving from 1988 on it so this is priceless trying to find a device that will do the functions mentioned above.”

• This device CONVERTS cd tracks to mp3 format on thumb drive. No other recording is possible.

• You can do direct recording from the CD player to the USB drive on the LG - DVD Player with USB Direct Recording - Black, Model # DP132. The recording format is MP3 Files and the Encoding Bit rates are: 128 Kbps / 160 Kbps / 192 Kbps / 256 Kbps / 320 Kbps. The recording feature cannot record live TV shows or video. ^CP
