• Hello jrkief. The LG DVD Player with USB Direct Recording, Model # DP132 cannot play Blu-Ray DVD discs. 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, Blu-ray, and DVD technologies are backward compatible, meaning that each technology can play the formats that preceded it, but it is not forward compatible...^IFV
