The filters for the LG FlushFit™ 24" Top Control Smart Built-In Stainless Steel Tub Dishwasher with 3rd Rack, 1 Hour Wash & Dry Cycle and 42dBA - Stainless Steel, Model # LDNTH753S have to be cleaned to remove food residue caught in filters to prevent the buildup of odor-causing bacteria and possible drainage problems. For the best wash performance, the filters should be washed after each load. If food debris remains in the filter, it may cause an odor. In areas with hard water, the filter should be cleaned at least once a month with a soft brush. Clean the filters using non-abrasive materials and warm running water...^Ivan.
