I just talked with LG and they said that it comes with one 512 SSD and a slot for another SSD, however, if I opened up the computer to add one it would void the warranty. So I'd have to wait a year for the warranty to expire before being able to do this.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. So, per LG web site this unit has dual channel/dual slot SSD and per the LGAnswers, has one 512GB SSD card. Therefore, I should be able to add a second 512GB SSD cardto the unused slot providing a total of 1TB SSD. I called the 1800 243000 LG help number and the product is too new so they do not have support docs available yet to provide a certain yes or no answer. Waiting for email response from LG when they find a definite answer and will update here once I know. Thanks
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This unit has one 512GB solid-state drive (SSD). While offering less storage space than a hard drive, a flash-based SSD has no moving parts, resulting in faster start-up times and data access, no noise, and reduced heat production and power draw on the battery.
