Can it be used as a regular microwave? null

Yes it can but the auto heat mode works better than I expected auto heat senses humidity and chamber temp to control. Don't buy it without the extended warranty. LG does not fix them. They tell you to buy a new one and they will send you a check. It takes over a year of phone calls to get the check.
