HUGE but mighty. But get the warranty!
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this microwave and the unique chimes. Not the usual sounds and beeps when done. Really pleasant. I did blow a fuse I believe by accidentally blocking the intake vents about 7 months in—- so be wary! Best Buy doesn’t warranty their items for one year so good luck. Buy their silly warranty! Or use a credit card that does! I love the touch buttons— it’s like a touchscreen not push like most microwaves. It’s hard to really get used to! I use the easy “30 second” add button and easy start for that. The popcorn button ACTUALLY works too. The inside is HUGE so bonus for these hefty microwave users like myself. It is quick and efficient Moreau that other units before and after the fuse blow while I wait to fix it. The interim microwave sucks in comparison for a slight price drop (sharp model). The whole thing is huge, though— twice a normal microwave size but beautiful! If you live in an apartment this will take up an ENTIRE good sized counter so measure! It is HUGE I cannot understate that. I attached a photo. Overall wonderful if not for constant dings to get food (preference there). But lovely sounds and great performance. Can’t figure out the self clean function though. No button for it either?

Premium Upgrade to Previous Microwave
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I thoroughly am enjoying this microwave. Aside from its outstanding design and appearance on the outside, it is very spacious and powerful on the inside. Now that I’ve gotten a taste for the smart cooking sensor, I’ll never buy another microwave without it. I do recommend not using a lid to cover your food when utilizing the sensory cooking. The sensor works by measuring the steam coming off your plate of food as it starts to heat up. It then adjust the temperature and time amount accordingly to ensure you have the perfect balance of heat the moment you grab your plate from the microwave, ensuring you don’t burn yourself. With a lid covering the foods I’ve noticed that the accuracy gets thrown off by the lid trapping a lot of the steam. Other than that, great product.

solid so far
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like it alot. I am getting used to some different operating parameters though. I had a cuisinart that I loved as well. My old one had quick presets on it. You could press 3, and it would run 3 minutes. On this LG, you have to press 3 0 0 and then start to get it to run for 3 minutes. It does have it's version of a quick preset though. You would press stop/clear, and then start/enter and it will start running at 30 seconds. If you just keep pressing the start/enter it will keep adding 30 seconds to the time. I personally think the number preset for quick use is better. 1 for 1 minute, 2 for 2 minutes, 3 for 3 minutes and so on. Oh well, I will get used to it. One thing I had to fix was the little feet on the bottom of the unit. I put the microwave on the counter, and when I press the button to open the microwave it would move. The feet don't keep the unit from sliding on the counter. I fixed this by putting 2 little pieces of double stick tape on each of the front 2 feet. My unit is now solid, and does not move when i open the door, or use the buttons. I have heard many people complain about the little song at the end when the unit is finished cooking. I don't mind this at all. I like it better than the usual beep, beep, beep sound. Lastly I will say this thing is big! I had a 1 cu. ft cuisinart before, and this thing is twice as big. You definitely need to make sure that you have the counter space for this baby.

Bigger but don't like the controls
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We got this microwave to replace a 10 yo Kenmore Elite, which is no longer made but worked better. This LG requires multiple steps to accomplish what our old one did in just one step. For example, to bake a potato, all we had to do was hit the button and it would be done. This one we have to hit the S1 button six times, not just hit S and then #6. The outside looks good because directions are inside, on the top, which is not ideal - see the photo. All the functions work and it is big and fast, but we can't rate it higher because of the controls. There is a popcorn function button, but you have to hit it and also Start, which is one more step than our old microwave. Our first choice, the highly rated Sharp , was not available anywhere. We like that there is an inside light so you can see what is happening, and it does a good job cooking and reheating, and it fit in our space.

Solid well built microwave
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I gave read negative reviews on this microwave but I honestly don’t see why. I needed something that would be able to take square plates so that is where my search began. I had purchased a Samsung during the remodel of my kitchen and that thing was a piece of junk. This microwave is solid, heats evenly and looks great on the counter. It is large in size but doesn’t look overpowering on the counter. It is not heavy to move but has a large interior for bigger plates and dishes. It will serve my needs well.

Great microwave
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This LG microwave is definitely worth a place on your kitchen counter... It's 1200 watts gives it enough power to cook quickly. It has several modes including sensor reheat, which I use to reheat cups of coffee and plates of food. It automatically sets the right amount of time depending on which sensor reheat number you choose. It has a large 2.0 cu ft to fit most anything. I like the sleek look and the chime it plays when it's done cooking is easily heard from another room (though some may find this annoying, it doesn't bother me). Overall, I recommend this product.

Worth every penny!!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This microwave is a little pricey but it’s worth every penny. It’s super spacious inside to fit whatever size plate you have in your house. It’s powerful enough to heat your food fast and evenly with the smart inverter it has in it. One of my favorite things about this microwave is that the sound it makes when finished warming is not obnoxiously loud like other microwaves are. Instead, it’s a kind of a quiet little jingle that’s loud enough to hear. It does cost more to get the dark steel finish by like a couple more dollars but it’s worth it because it looks amazing. I definitely fully recommend getting this microwave if you’re looking for the best out there for countertop microwaves.

Pretty nice microwave
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve only owned it for 10 hours but I do have to say I’m genuinely impressed. Heated up several items, ramen soup, pulled pork, soup, potatoes, and each one was heated thru evenly. Zero old spots. Except for the potatoes, they will cook in a cheap microwave. My son cooked the ramen soup. As with our old microwave he set the cook time to 3 minutes. He noticed it was boiling at the 2 minute mark and removed the bowl. He said they were done. I read other reviews about how annoying the chime is when the food is done.... BIG DEAL! It’s not annoying at all. I find it a welcome change from the usual BING that most microwaves have. This microwave is a nice addition to our kitchen.

Exact match for the JX2030SMSS trim kit
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The LG LMC2075ST Microwave oven is an exact fit for the JX2020MSS GE trim kit. LG must have made the GE microwave (PEB2060SMSS) in the past because as I said the old trim kit fits perfectly. My house is twelve years old and the old GE PEB2060SMSS microwave just failed, It was installed above a built in oven when the house was built. The JX2030SMSS trim kit has a curved top to match the built in oven just below it, so it was great that the LG microwave worked, Again, a perfect match, screw for screw, hole to hole etc. I discovered this by comparing the LG trim kit installation (MK2030NST) instructions to the one for the JX2030SMSS. The two trim kits appear to be identical except the LG one doesn't have the curved top.

Big Microwave!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.LG makes some great products! It’s a big microwave. Love the sense cooking and how large the inside is. Also, a sucker for all the different kinds of chimes and noises it makes. So far I would only say the flaws are it’s not as fingerprint resistant as stated, or my fingers are just always greasy, and the button to open the door is pretty cheaply made. I love it so far and extremely easy to operate. Great microwave for pri

Great product!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This microwave is a gorgeous unit! Very sleek design & user friendly. It is a larger microwave from some of the standard models/styles. I had read a few reviews of the size, but I am quite happy with mine & do not think that it is "too big". Once the timer or cook finishes, I find the noise/alarm the unit makes is pleasant. My last microwave was an LG which has lasted over a decade, I wanted to get an upgrade & have been very pleased with LG products so far.

Good and Reliable
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We had an LG microwave for about 2 years and 10 months when it stopped heating. Unfortunately we didn’t buy an extended warranty at the time of purchase even though I almost always do whenever I buy an appliance. I was determined to shop around and buy a different brand, but after much searching, I decided the best bang for my buck was another LG. Also I am fairly sure that the reason our original LG stopped working was because we used a product called a Reheatza in our microwave to reheat pizza. That Reheatza now resides in some landfill. Along with the new LG, I purchased a 4 year warranty this time. The LG seems to work in all the ways a microwave should. It cooks food well and it reheats food evenly. The tune that it sounds with after the cooking is better than the old beeping annoying noise, in my opinion. If you purchase this, my advice is buy the extended warranty just in case. And NEVER use the Reheatza!!

Great Microwave
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Beautiful appliance, fits perfectly in the countertop-does not take up too much room. Placing a model that was about 12 years old. Easy to use, cooks quickly and evenly. Well lit interior. We are a huge fan of LG appliances and this one does not disappoint.

Powerful and matches my other LG appliances
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its the most powerful microwave and accurate in terms of sensor that I’ve ever owned! My true test for a microwave is the popcorn button, and this microwave hasn’t burnt my popcorn yet. Its pretty easy to use, no complicated buttons or menu. The only gripe is that the buttons are a little hard to press, you have to hit them just the right way. Takes a little getting used to, but not a deal breaker.

LG Microwave
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Selected this microwave because it matches my LG refrigerator and was larger than most available. Works very well, is much quieter than other microwaves I have owned, and is less heavy. Does what it is supposed to do!

Great microwave oven, just really huge!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this a little while ago and I have to say its performance is very good. Heat's very evenly and quickly but it's a very big microwave oven (at least compared to my old one). Takes up quite a bit of counter space and didn't realize just how much until I brought it home but the interior is huge. An 18 x 14 in tray almost fits inside lengthwise, and I have a feeling a large pizza box will fit as well. The touch pad is not as quick as my old one so you do have to wait just a tad to tap in the next number but since it's got 30 second interval one touch starts, it's not a big deal. Won't say the sensor cook and sensor reheat is a gimmick because it does work and it does exactly what it says it does. The problem is, you really have to know the exact weight of the item you want to heat up. Seriously, how many of us really know the exact weight of a leftover meal? I used it several times just to test it out but in day to day life, I don't use it. The only real complaint I have (and it's a minor one) is that the door is very loud when you close it. When it's heating something, it's very quiet and there's a really fun melody letting you know when it's done. After you take the food out and close the door, you really can't close it quietly. Believe me, I've tried but it's just not possible (work on that issue on the next model, LG). Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend this, though you may want the smaller one if your countertop space is limited. Hope this helped!

It’s huge !!!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Tested it right away by heating a glass of milk and success ... the perfect warmth of my glass of milk made me want to sleep right away ... it also plays a quick jingle soon as it’s done with its tasked marking the celebration of completing said task ... woot woot ... my old microwave would be so jealous since we totally love our LG Smart Inventer Magnetron ... hopefully I won’t have to use my 10yr manufacture warranty but if I did I’m still glad it’s has that lengthy warranty ...
