• This microwave replaced one we had for 30 years. It works fine. Yours is broken. I'd check with the Geek squad for answers.

• I have bought this microwave a month ago from today and I have never never came across this issue. My food heats up very well for the first time, which does not need a second reheat. I would suggest simply replacing your microwave with a more functional one.
