When flipped upside down the picture auto rotates. It may take a couple of seconds to due that but it will. There is a DLSR type camera mount screw hold at the bottom of the projector. I was able to use a ceiling mount bracket from a indoor security camera to mount it.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The LG Full HD LED Smart Home Theater Projector with Built-In Battery, Model # PF50KA has a PJT mode that turns the projected image upside down or flips it horizontally. ^CP
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The unit has a tripod mount style threaded opening on the bottom. The full user manual can be downloaded for free from the LG website (www.lg.com) under the Support tab, and then search for the model number (PF50). I looked through the manual relatively quickly and could find no mention of the ability to rotate the image 180 degrees to make upside-down mounting on the ceiling possible, so I would not assume this feature is available. Of course, if mounted rightside up on the ceiling in some fashion, it would work fine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes this can be ceiling mounted. However the beauty of this product is that it can be used outdoors and is small so easily concealed to carry in daypack. So by mounting this you lose the option to really use this for what it is best for like outdoor summer parties or a back yard movie night with kids and so on.
