I HAVE AN LG RANGE AND FOUND PIECES OF ENAMEL ON BAKED COOKIES. I DO HAVE TWO CHIPS FROM THE COOKIE I BIT ON. THE REST HAD TO BE THROWN OUT. NOW, I AM AFRAID THAT IF I USE OVEN CHIPS WILL BE FOUND IN FOOD. THIS IS DEFINITELY A MANUFACTURE PROBLEM. THERE SHOULD BE A RECALL ON 3812MMBEDA133 LRE3194BD MFG 2018

They gave me a $100 discount for repair with only 90 days warranty and no guarantee it will not happen again in future. They said it is not safe use the oven. I've decided to not purchase LG anymore. They don't responsability for the poor quality of the paint in the oven.

You can Google failing enamel and every store brand oven has the same complaints and the same response, “It is cosmetic”. Do not use the oven, ingesting that is dangerous. Unfortunately, you will have to replace the part or the oven. The only way to avoid this issue in the future is to purchase a high end appliance that isn’t stocked by a big box store.
