When stacked, what is the overall heigth? null

Both the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 4.5 cu. ft. Ultra Large Capacity TurboWash™ Washer, Model # WM3770HWA and its matching Dryer will have the same height of 38 11/16" so the total height when stacked will be the combined height (i.e. 38 11/16" x 2) which will be 77 3/8"...^IFV

I don’t think this “best answer” is correct. I have the same question because we just ordered this washer /dryer pair with the LG stacking kit which appears to add at least an inch between the units. We have a very tight height tolerance and may need to modify our cabinet above. LG: please confirm an accurate dimension for the height of this matching pair using the LG stacking kit. I can’t find the answer anywhere. Thank you.
