It depends on the game. Fortnite for example allows 120fps mode but most games on the PS5 are capped at 60fps. The monitor will auto-adjust based on your games frame rate output.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello there, Chuck. Thank you for your question about the 45GR95QE-B.AUS gaming monitor! To achieve a refresh rate higher than 60Hz on your PlayStation, ensure you are using a high-speed HDMI cable that supports HDMI 2.1, as this is necessary for 120Hz output. Also, go to Settings > Screen and Video > Video Output on your PlayStation and set the resolution to Automatic to allow the console to select the best refresh rate that your monitor can support. Additionally, make sure that the monitor is set to the correct input mode, as some monitors have specific modes optimized for gaming. Finally, check for any firmware updates available for your monitor, as these can improve compatibility with gaming consoles. If you’ve checked all of these and are still experiencing issues, please feel free to send us a private message on Social Media @LGUSSupport for further assistance. We appreciate your patience and look forward to assisting you! —Avril
