The HDMI 1.4 output is for audio only.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The First Port Is For Video and Audio and the Second Port IS for Audio only as I understand. The Point of the feature is so you can connect your 4K tv to get all of the features and benefits of 4K UHD but if you have a receiver that cannot pass that through you can still send Audio to your receiver.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, the slower one is just for audio output. Some, like myself, send the 4k video directly to the 4K TV via the 2.0 HDMI port, and the audio to the AV receiver/amp via the 1.4 port. It's nice to have this option if you want/need to.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. One 2.0 is for video only and the other 1.4 is for audio only Thank you
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The 1.4 HDMI port is intended to go to your sound system. The 1.4 port doesn't have the band width to carry the full spectrum of Ultra 4k. I don't know whether it carries limited video though, but is isn't intended for that purpose per the documentation. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The 2.0 is video and audio the other is audio only. For further information you can download the owners manual at the LG website.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can find just about anything you want to know about HDMI at this website HDMI.org: http://www.hdmi.org/manufacturer/index.aspx
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I now use 1.4 cable with an LG 4K OLED 3D TV, with HDR, and it runs picture and sound just fine. My present Blue Ray player is not 4k or HDR compatible. The TV upscaling is beautiful. I believe I will need to upgrade to 2.0 when I upgrade to 4k Blue-Ray player with HDR.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No idea Ask Best Buy for that one.
