A:Answer You would need two power supplies if there is a gap larger than 1 meter between the shelves. Otherwise, Lifx does sell Z connector cables at lengths of 1m, 10 cm, and 7cm to bridge the gap. Note, you can only use one of these connectors between each light strip, so you could not bridge a gap any longer than 1m.
