A:AnswerNot sure when you bought your lights but I had always been able to save my scenes. The only scenes I used were custom ones I created, didn’t care too much for the preset ones. The problem I always had I was connecting on my phone and the music feature. The mic never seemed to work accurately, I exchanged one set but even the replacement had the same problem. Hope this helps
A:AnswerThe previous answers were both KINDA right. Each strip is 1 METER, or 3.3 feet, with a maximum of 10 strips per controller. See a more lengthy response to a similar question that goes into detail about how the overall brightness will drop if you have more than 4 strips on a single controller.
A:AnswerAs long as you get the proper voltage and amperage to the wireless transmitter (its the smaller square in line with the cable), it should be fine. The AC to DC plug actually comes with an interchangeable socket input based on its region, so you could just hardline into that if you wanted. Make sure to follow electrical code for your region so you don’t risk insurance issues.
A:AnswerYou would need two power supplies if there is a gap larger than 1 meter between the shelves. Otherwise, Lifx does sell Z connector cables at lengths of 1m, 10 cm, and 7cm to bridge the gap. Note, you can only use one of these connectors between each light strip, so you could not bridge a gap any longer than 1m.
A:AnswerNo it is not water proof. Do not get the lights wet unless you purchase warranty. They have lights you can by that can get wet but not this particular set.
