can I use a 9 volt power supply with this switch? null

I'm not the expert, but since I have to plug the unit into a 120v wall socket, I'm pretty sure a 9 volt power supply won't work.

The spec label on the bottom of the switch is 12V 0.5A. Even if you get it to work with 9V, No one can guarantee it's going to be a stable setup.
