“I have an Arris T25 3.1 DOCSIS modem & would like to run 2 computers simultaneously to access the web. Will this Ethernet switch provide that function? My Xfinity account can't provide me with a 2nd IP address to use the 2 Ethernet ports on the T25”

• Yes, it will, unless you actually need two separate IP's.

• Hi, Mick. If the switch is connected to a router or a modem with DHCP capabilities, then computers connected to the switch will have internet access. Since routers with DHCP capabilities can allow sharing of internet connection between computers.
