“Will this switch work with a Verizon router on a Fios line? I understand that some ISPs do not allow switches but I need more connection points. Thank you.”

• If you go from the modem directly into a wireless router, then any hard wire connection off the router can go into as many switches as you want. I have my cable modem feeding into my Linksys wireless router, then out of my router into my 12 port switch, and then from my 12 port switch I have 2 other 8 port switches in other parts of the house. Then problem for most people is they try and come right off the modem right into a switch and you will get blocked every time. If you go into the router 1st, the ISPs can't see past the router.

• Hi, Rotamat. The Linksys SE3005 will only serve as a pass-through device in your home network. It should work with any router like the one that you own.
