“I have a Spectrum WiFi Pod that helps boost the WiFi signal. It has 2 ports for Ethernet connections. My understanding is that if I connect the Linksys to the pod and another cat5 to the desktop I will be able to run Ethernet to the desktop. Correct?”

Hi! You can connect up to five ethernet devices to the switch. You can also cascade other networking devices like a switch or router to further expand your network. If you need any additional help, feel free to email us at LinksysCares@linksys.com.

Our Linksys 5 port is connected via a 500 ft ethernet cord directly to our eero wifi extender device and our other devices are connected to the Linksys 5 in the other rooms. We still have wifi connected for the TVS and phones and the game system and my work office are connected to the Linksys 5 port.
